In the upcoming Belgium Pro League game between KVC Westerlo and SK Beveren, scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the KVC Westerlo vs. SK Beveren match originally scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will move accordingly. This dynamic pricing can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions than those offered by conventional betting outlets, though discrepancies can occur.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders deposit USDC to purchase shares representing their belief in a specific exact score. As more shares are bought or sold, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the changing demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that exact score occurring, as perceived by the market participants. The market is entirely driven by supply and demand, with no centralized price setter.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the KVC Westerlo vs. SK Beveren match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares payout, and at what rate. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score outcome will receive a payout equivalent to the final market price of their shares at resolution. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on objectively verifiable results.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff for either KVC Westerlo or SK Beveren could significantly shift expectations. Additionally, weather conditions on match day, tactical announcements from the managers, and even pre-match analysis from soccer experts could all impact trading activity. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as early red cards or penalty decisions, would also likely cause rapid price movements as traders react to the changing dynamics of the game.
