In the upcoming Belgium Pro League game between KV Kortrijk and Yellow-Red KV Mechelen, scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the KV Kortrijk vs. Yellow-Red KV Mechelen match originally scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to note that prediction markets often incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or changes in team conditions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score occurring. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove accurate. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand, influenced by news, analysis, and overall market sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Belgian Pro League match will determine the winning outcome. Any official scoreline announced by the league will be used to verify the outcome. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the final market probabilities at the time of resolution. The outcome is determined solely by the official match result.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either KV Kortrijk or Yellow-Red KV Mechelen would likely impact the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about coaching changes or internal team issues could also shift probabilities. Furthermore, any significant public analysis from sports experts or widespread betting activity could contribute to price movements in this market.
