On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and reduces the implied probability. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the event's likelihood.
This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kuzyshyn vs. Holoborodko match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before its resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could influence trader sentiment. Public announcements about the players’ physical condition or training regimens would also be relevant. Furthermore, shifts in broader public opinion, reflected in social media or sports news coverage, could impact trading activity and alter the implied probabilities. Unexpected upsets in related matches could also cause traders to reassess their positions.
