Prediction market odds often reflect a different set of information than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the collective wisdom of many individual bettors. This can lead to discrepancies, as prediction markets may more accurately reflect the true probabilities of outcomes, especially when there's a significant information advantage held by market participants. It’s common to see differences emerge as new information becomes available, and as different groups analyze the event.
