On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price fluctuates, reflecting the evolving consensus. The market’s price discovery process allows for a dynamic and potentially more accurate assessment of the event’s likelihood than static odds offered elsewhere.

Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Publicly released analysis from sports experts, media coverage, and even social media trends can also influence the market. Unexpected weather conditions, if the match is outdoors, could also be a catalyst. As the event draws closer, any information that alters perceptions of the relative strengths of the competitors is likely to drive trading activity and price fluctuations.
