On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a constant product market maker model, meaning the product of the share prices for all possible outcomes always equals one. This ensures that there is always a market for shares, and prices adjust dynamically to reflect changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kurliuk vs. Shulhachyk match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in form, or tactical adjustments could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about match conditions or referee assignments might also play a role. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also exert pressure on the market. Major upsets in related matches or tournaments could also indirectly impact trading activity, as traders reassess the overall competitive landscape.
