On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe an outcome is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price and indicating a higher probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kryvoshyi vs. Dunas match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the winning shares. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the players' form, injuries, or changes in coaching strategy could shift expectations. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players, or broader tournament dynamics, might also impact trading activity. Public sentiment, as reflected in social media or expert analysis, can also play a role, especially if it deviates significantly from the initial market assessment. Major upsets or surprising performance levels during the match itself will likely cause rapid price adjustments.
