Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, incorporating a 'vig' or commission. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. As a result, the odds may differ, potentially offering value where discrepancies exist. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and adjust probabilities based on a broader range of factors than sportsbooks typically consider.
