On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Krokhmal vs. Kovalenko match, as reported by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the result against publicly available information to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in match scheduling, or reports on player form could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team dynamics could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, major upsets in related matches or tournaments might lead to reassessments of player capabilities. Public opinion, as reflected in social media and sports news, can also play a role, influencing trading activity and ultimately affecting the price of shares in this market.
