Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market represents the aggregated beliefs of individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the unique dynamics of each venue. If you find a significant difference between the odds here and those offered by sportsbooks, it could signal an opportunity, or it might indicate that the market has access to information not yet fully incorporated into sportsbook lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood. This means the price isn't fixed, but rather fluctuates based on supply and demand.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
