Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, whereas this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of an outcome, potentially creating arbitrage opportunities for informed traders. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the crowd and adjusts in real-time as new information becomes available.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Krames vs. Liska match, as determined by the governing sports authority. The platform will rely on publicly available and widely accepted sources to verify the winner and finalize the market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the outcome.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or updated match previews could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or player form could also cause significant movement. Furthermore, large volume trades from informed participants can quickly impact the price, especially if they signal a change in perceived probability. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in this market before Oct 25, 2026.
