Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of public awareness regarding the competitors involved. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when insider information or nuanced analysis is factored in by traders.
