Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own research and insights. If sportsbook odds significantly disagree with the implied probabilities shown here, it could indicate a potential opportunity for arbitrage – though transaction fees and slippage should be considered. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a significant amount of trading volume occurs.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Any news regarding the players’ form, injuries, or changes in their training regimes could significantly shift the odds.
