In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Kosovo and Austria, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Kosovo vs. Austria match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective predictions of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view of the event's potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that score occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likely outcome. The market's efficiency depends on the volume of trading and the diversity of opinions represented among the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Kosovo vs. Austria match, as officially recorded by the governing football association, will determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to see the verified result on Polymarket following the conclusion of the match and official score confirmation.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either Kosovo or Austria could significantly shift the probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue might also play a role. Furthermore, general shifts in public sentiment, fueled by expert analysis or media coverage, could impact trading volume and price movements. Major upsets in other qualifying matches could also indirectly affect how traders assess the likelihood of different scores in this contest.
