On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each golfer’s chance of leading after the third round. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust, providing a real-time assessment of the field. The market's efficiency relies on active participation and the collective intelligence of its users.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which golfer is officially recorded as the leader after the third round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. The official leaderboard from the Korn Ferry Tour will serve as the basis for verifying the final standings. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process for all participants in this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding a golfer’s health, form, or playing conditions – such as a reported injury or exceptional performance in a practice round – could shift the odds. Weather forecasts predicting challenging conditions could also influence the market, as some golfers excel in certain weather. Finally, early performance during the third round itself will be a major catalyst, with strong starts or struggles quickly reflected in the trading activity and share prices within this market.
