On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven entirely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, resolution will depend on whether an albatross (a score of three under par on a single hole) is recorded at any point during the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. The final result will be determined by official tournament records and verified against credible public sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. News regarding player form, course conditions, or weather forecasts could all impact the perceived probability of an albatross. A particularly strong performance by a player known for aggressive play, or reports of unusually favorable conditions, might increase demand for shares representing a successful albatross. Conversely, challenging weather or a course known for its difficulty could decrease those shares. Any significant updates related to the tournament itself will likely cause movement in this market.
