On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether a golfer will finish in the Top 20. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of shares directly translates to the probability assigned to that outcome by the market as a whole, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of potential results. This differs from fixed-odds betting, where probabilities are set in advance.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final leaderboard for the Compliance Solutions Championship is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results published by the Korn Ferry Tour, determining which golfers ultimately finished within the Top 20. The market will then settle to 100% for the winning outcome(s) and 0% for all others, reflecting the confirmed event results.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding a golfer’s health, form, or potential withdrawal from the tournament would likely cause price fluctuations. Significant changes in weather forecasts for the tournament location could also shift probabilities, as certain golfers may perform better in specific conditions. Finally, live performance during the event itself – early round scores and leaderboard positioning – will undoubtedly drive substantial movement in this market as traders react to unfolding events.
