It's common to see differences between prediction market odds and those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those on Polymarket, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of either athlete winning, or a potential arbitrage opportunity for informed traders. Keep in mind that prediction markets can sometimes offer more nuanced probabilities than simple win/loss bets.
