On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand from traders on Polymarket, reflecting their collective assessment of the likelihood of each competitor winning the match.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result of the Kolesnykov vs. Kovalenko match as reported by the governing sporting body. The platform will then verify the outcome against these sources to determine which outcome resolves as correct. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions impacting the match could shift trader sentiment.
