Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like house edges and perceived public biases into their pricing, whereas this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those found here, it could indicate differing levels of information or varying interpretations of the available data. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms and may appeal to different types of bettors.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Klymenko vs. Khalenko match. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective intelligence of the traders on Polymarket, and the implied probability of a particular outcome is directly derived from this price. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive up its price, indicating greater confidence in that result.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Klymenko vs. Khalenko match as declared by the governing sports authority.
