Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to reflect the true probabilities of each exact scoreline, potentially offering more favorable odds for informed participants. However, it's important to remember that both prediction markets and sportsbooks are subject to differing levels of information and biases, and discrepancies can arise based on public perception and expert analysis of the upcoming match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a specific exact scoreline occurring in the Kilmarnock vs. Motherwell match. As more shares are traded for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to its implied probability – a higher price indicates a greater perceived chance of that scoreline happening. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the aggregated wisdom of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Kilmarnock vs. Motherwell match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline as officially recorded by the governing football authorities will be used to determine the winning share(s) in this market. Any delays in official reporting may impact the resolution timeline, but the process will be completed as soon as a definitive result is available and independently verified. Traders should monitor official sources for the final match result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to the match. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Kilmarnock or Motherwell would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable to one team's playing style, could also impact trading. Furthermore, any pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could trigger increased volume and price adjustments as traders react to new information.
