Often, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing a broader range of perspectives. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Examining these differences can reveal where the market anticipates value, or where sportsbook analysis might diverge from collective prediction.

Key player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected team performance in preceding games could all shift the perceived probabilities. Major upsets in other KHL games involving these teams’ rivals might also cause traders to reassess their positions. Any significant development impacting the teams’ chances of winning could lead to noticeable movements in the market.
