This market refers to the cricket match between Salwa Boys and Cochin Hurricanes scheduled for October 9 2026 at 7:00 AM ET in KCC T20 Summer League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often provide a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and profit margins, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to be accurate. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public perception differs from expert analysis. Examining these differences can be valuable, as prediction markets sometimes identify mispriced outcomes. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities and are subject to change based on new information and trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the aggregated view of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the market’s assessment of the likelihood of a particular result in the KCC T20 match, and traders can capitalize on perceived mispricings by taking opposing positions.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the KCC T20 match between Salwa Boys and Cochin Hurricanes is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score and official result will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket. This is a straightforward market focused on the completion of a specific sporting event.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather conditions impacting the match could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected performance during the game itself, such as a particularly strong batting or bowling display, would also likely cause significant price movement. Furthermore, large trades from individual participants or groups could temporarily influence the odds, though the market typically self-corrects as more traders weigh in. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves.
