In the upcoming Japan J. League game between Kashiwa Reysol and Vissel Kōbe, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Kashiwa Reysol vs. Vissel Kōbe match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the most likely exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the varying motivations of participants. It’s common to see this market incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or subtle shifts in team form.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s current assessment of that outcome’s probability. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s efficiency is driven by the incentive for traders to accurately predict the result, as correct predictions yield profits. This dynamic pricing ensures that the odds closely reflect the collective intelligence of the crowd.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Kashiwa Reysol vs. Vissel Kōbe match is verifiable from credible public reporting.
