Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market is driven purely by individuals wagering on their beliefs about the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate disagreement about the likely result. It's important to note that prediction markets can sometimes incorporate information faster than traditional sources, leading to different probabilities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the aggregated sentiment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. This differs from fixed-odds betting, as the odds can change until the market closes.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Karpisek vs. Nemecek match, as reported by authoritative sports news sources. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not.

Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or strategic announcements from either Karpisek or Nemecek could shift expectations.
