These markets focus on predicting the outcome of the fourth quarter in an upcoming college football game between Kansas State and Colorado. Each market corresponds to different point spreads that either team must achieve to settle the bet, with specific thresholds defining whether the condition is met.
The markets resolve based on the point differential in the fourth quarter (excluding overtime) of the Kansas St. vs Colorado college football game scheduled for Oct 31, 2026. For Kansas St. markets, resolution occurs if they win the fourth quarter by more than the specified spread (ranging from 1.5 to 10.5 points). For Colorado markets, resolution occurs if they win the fourth quarter by more than the specified spread (ranging from 2.5 to 10.5 points). Only points scored during the fourth quarter count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Often, prediction market odds provide a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or risk assessments. If you find a significant difference between the odds on Kalshi and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate that traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome in the Kansas State-Colorado game.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the 4th quarter of the Kansas State versus Colorado game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a trusted sports data source. The market will determine whether Colorado wins the 4th quarter by more than 2.5 points, or if they do not. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout of 100 cents per contract, while those holding contracts on the incorrect outcome will receive nothing.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Kansas State or Colorado teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also shift expectations. Furthermore, late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could cause traders to reassess the probabilities. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could also contribute to price movements in this market.
