This set of markets tracks the total points scored by both Kansas State and Colorado during the second quarter of their college football game. Each market has a different threshold for the combined points that need to be exceeded for the outcome to be considered a success.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the second quarter of the Kansas St. vs Colorado college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold (ranging from 2.5 to 27.5 points); if the combined second-quarter points exceed the threshold, the market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the second quarter count, and Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it could indicate differing beliefs about the likelihood of various scenarios. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities and are subject to change as new information becomes available.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official score for the 2nd quarter of the Kansas State versus Colorado football game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the total points scored by both teams during that specific quarter. The platform will then determine which side of the market – over 5.5 points or under 5.5 points – corresponds to the actual result, and contracts will be settled accordingly. Traders holding winning contracts will receive a payout.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Kansas State or Colorado would likely cause movement, as would updates on weather conditions that might affect scoring. Significant shifts in public perception, perhaps driven by pre-game analysis or expert predictions, could also impact trading activity. Finally, large volume trades from individual participants or groups could temporarily influence the price, although the market tends to self-correct as more information becomes available and more traders participate.
