These markets track whether both Kansas City and Seattle will score a specified number of points or more in their Pro Football game scheduled for October 25, 2026. The outcome depends on the combined performance of both teams in terms of points scored during regulation and overtime periods.
All markets resolve based on whether both Kansas City and Seattle score at least a specified number of points (14, 21, 28, or 35) in their Pro Football game originally scheduled for October 25, 2026. Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. Each market has a different threshold for the minimum points both teams must score to resolve to 'Yes.' Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates a broader range of information and perspectives from individual traders. If sportsbook odds heavily favor one outcome, we might see a corresponding price movement in this market, but not necessarily a direct correlation. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments, information access, and the incentive structures inherent in each type of market. It’s common to find prediction markets more accurate over time as they aggregate diverse opinions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Kansas City and Seattle will score. As more traders buy contracts indicating 'yes', the price increases, reflecting a higher probability. Conversely, selling contracts lowers the price. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price represents the implied probability of the event occurring, ranging from 0 to 100. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations in real-time, providing a forward-looking assessment of the potential outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both the Kansas City and Seattle teams score at least one goal during the match. Official match results will serve as the basis for determining the winning contracts. The platform will verify the outcome against established sports data sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Kansas City or Seattle would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly those affecting offensive play, could also shift expectations. Unexpected tactical decisions announced by either team's coach might also move the market. Furthermore, any updates on team form or recent performance, as well as public sentiment expressed through sports news and analysis, could all contribute to price fluctuations before Oct 26, 2026.
