Description

This market focuses on predicting which team will win the second half of an upcoming professional MLS soccer match between Kansas City and Salt Lake. The resolution depends solely on the scoring during the second half, not the first half or final standings.

Kalshi

The event determines the winner of the second half in the Kansas City versus Salt Lake professional MLS soccer match scheduled for October 17, 2026. Three possible outcomes are considered: Kansas City wins the second half, Salt Lake wins the second half, or the half ends in a tie. If Kansas City scores more goals than Salt Lake in the second half, including scenarios where Salt Lake scores zero, the "Kansas City wins 2nd Half" market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Salt Lake scores more goals than Kansas City, the "Salt Lake wins 2nd Half" market resolves to Yes. Should both teams score an equal number of goals, including a 0-0 draw, the "Tie 2nd Half" market resolves to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, the markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform. The resolution is strictly based on second-half performance, with no consideration given to the first half or overall match result.
