On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is reflected in the share price, and traders adjust their positions based on new information and their own analysis. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest collective intelligence.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the condition of either athlete, such as injuries or illness, would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in rankings, recent performance data, or even weather conditions (if the match is outdoors) could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or location could also move the market. Major upsets in related matches or tournaments might also lead traders to reassess their predictions, causing fluctuations in the price of shares.
