This market tracks the outcome of an Italian professional basketball match between two teams, determining the winner based on the final score. The event reflects competitive sports performance where one team must secure a victory during the designated game. Results are confirmed once the official game concludes, with specific guidelines for scheduling changes.
The event resolves based on the winner of the men’s professional Italy Serie A2 basketball game between Juvi Cremona 1952 and Real Sebastiani Rieti, scheduled for November 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. If Real Sebastiani Rieti wins, its corresponding market resolves to Yes, and Juvi Cremona 1952’s market resolves to No. Conversely, if Juvi Cremona 1952 wins, its market resolves to Yes, and Real Sebastiani Rieti’s resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, both markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. The markets are independent of each other and operate under these conditions without official affiliation to the governing league.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, the prediction market may show a different probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded on Kalshi.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result of the Italian basketball match between Juvi Cremona 1952 and Real Sebastiani Rieti. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available and trusted sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding contracts for the correct outcome will receive a payout.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team performance, or coaching changes could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the game's location or time could also have an impact. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large volume of contracts being bought or sold for one outcome – can quickly move the market. Public perception and analysis from sports commentators might also play a role in shaping expectations and influencing trading decisions on Kalshi.
