Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows participants to freely express their beliefs about the most likely exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply the collective intelligence of prediction market traders. It’s common to see this market odds move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise in assessing market efficiency.
