Opinion
In the upcoming KPL best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-06 09:00 UTC: if Hero JiuJing wins the series, the market will resolve to "Hero JiuJing"; if JD Gaming wins the series, the market will resolve to "JD Gaming". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: https://kpl.qq.com. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by house biases or initial public perception. Sportsbooks may set lines to encourage balanced betting, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing this market to sportsbook odds can offer a valuable perspective on where public and informed opinion diverge.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders regarding the likelihood of that outcome occurring. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment. The platform facilitates a transparent and efficient way to discover the aggregated probability of each result.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the League of Legends match between JD Gaming and Hero JiuJing, as reported by the governing body or official tournament organizers. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome and settle all outstanding contracts. Traders should monitor official announcements for the definitive result that will trigger market closure.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes could shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in other matches leading up to this event, or announcements about potential rule changes, might also influence the odds. Furthermore, in-game performance during the match itself, such as early game advantages or key player eliminations, could drive rapid price adjustments. Monitoring these factors will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market before it resolves.
