Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. Discrepancies can arise from differing information, biases, or simply variations in how each assesses the probabilities. If you find a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate an opportunity for value betting, assuming you have a strong conviction about the true outcome.

Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or even updated analysis from tennis experts could shift trader sentiment. A strong performance by either player in a practice session or pre-match interview might also lead to changes in the odds, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
