Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to continuously adjust probabilities based on new information and their own analysis. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on player form, potential injuries, or even weather conditions. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights into where the market believes there is an edge, or where sportsbooks may have mispriced the event. It's a good practice to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
