Description

This market focuses on determining which player will win the second set of a professional tennis match between Janice Tjen and Katherine Hui. The outcome depends solely on the performance of the athletes during the specified set, reflecting the competitive dynamics of their encounter. The market accounts for various scenarios where the match might not proceed as scheduled, ensuring fair resolution under different conditions.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the winner of the second set in the professional tennis match between Janice Tjen and Katherine Hui at the 2026 WTA Chennai Round Of 32. If Janice Tjen wins the second set, her market resolves to Yes, and Katherine Hui’s resolves to No, and vice versa. Should the match fail to commence due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation prior to any play, all markets resolve to a fair price. Postponements or delays keep markets open until the rescheduled match concludes, with resolution within two weeks after completion. If a player retires during the match, markets that can be settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly, while unresolved markets will settle at a Fair Market Price determined by the Exchange.
