Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while prediction markets reflect the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This market, specifically, may show discrepancies because prediction markets can incorporate a wider range of information, including sentiment analysis and real-time updates, that sportsbooks may not immediately factor in. These differences can create opportunities for arbitrage or informed betting.
