In the upcoming Turkey 1. Lig game between Istanbulspor AS and Antalyaspor, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Istanbulspor AS vs. Antalyaspor match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to differences in implied probabilities, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. It’s common to observe that this market’s odds shift more rapidly in response to new information or breaking news surrounding the teams involved, compared to the more static odds offered by sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the market's collective assessment of that outcome's probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time view of expectations. The market’s efficiency relies on informed traders and active participation, which helps to refine the probabilities over time.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Istanbulspor vs. Antalyaspor match, specifically the exact score, will be used to determine the winning shares. The platform will rely on official sources to verify the final score and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official announcements and results to stay informed about the resolution process and ensure a smooth settlement of their positions.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Istanbulspor or Antalyaspor would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news about team morale or internal conflicts could also move the market. Monitoring sports news outlets and social media for updates related to both teams is crucial for understanding potential catalysts.
