In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Israel and Switzerland, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Israel vs. Switzerland match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a more accurate assessment of probabilities than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as the event approaches. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, and may be influenced by marketing or biases. This market, driven by informed traders, aggregates diverse perspectives and can offer a sharper view of the likely outcome. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes differ significantly, and it’s useful to compare them to the implied probabilities found here to identify potential discrepancies and opportunities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and opinions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure raising the price and increased selling pressure lowering it. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market efficiently incorporates available information.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Israel vs. Switzerland match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer organization. No further action is needed from participants; the platform will automatically settle the market based on the verified outcome. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will receive a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will not.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Israel or Switzerland would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the coaches, or even weather forecasts for the match location could all influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news events impacting either country’s national morale or focus could also play a role. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding potential movements in the Israel vs. Switzerland score market.
