This market refers to the cricket match between Namibia and Ireland scheduled for November 1 2026 at 2:30 AM ET in Ireland Tour of Namibia ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, tends to reflect more closely what people truly believe will happen. While sportsbooks may be influenced by public betting patterns, this market represents a more direct assessment of probabilities, though discrepancies can exist due to differing information or risk appetites.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, signaling growing confidence in that result. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic process creates a real-time assessment of the series’ potential results, driven by informed traders.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the results of the Namibia vs Ireland ODI series are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official series results, including all matches played. The winning outcome will be determined by which team wins the majority of the One Day International (ODI) matches in the series. Traders will be able to see the final outcome reflected in the market once it is officially confirmed.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to team lineups would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions that could affect match play are also a key consideration. Furthermore, performance in preceding matches or tournaments, and any expert analysis released about team strategies or player form, could shift trader sentiment. Even general news about the political or economic climate in Namibia or Ireland could, to a lesser extent, impact trading activity in this market.
