This market refers to the cricket match between Namibia and Ireland scheduled for October 27 2026 at 4:00 AM ET in Ireland Tour of Namibia ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and need to account for a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists, it may suggest the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has identified a mispricing. It’s common to see prediction markets offer more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the series’ potential results. The current price reflects the collective judgment of those actively trading on Predict.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Ireland-Namibia ODI series is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official series result as determined by the governing cricket authorities. The market will then be settled, and winning contracts will be paid out according to the final outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the series results to understand when the market is finalized.
Several factors could influence this market before the series concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting match schedules could all cause significant shifts in the odds. Unexpected performance in early matches of the series will likely have a substantial effect, as will any expert analysis released that challenges existing expectations. Major upsets or dominant performances by either team will quickly be reflected in the trading activity and price movements within this market.
