This market refers to the Premier League match between Ipswich (IPS) and Fulham (FUL), scheduled for 2026-10-10 14:00 UTC. - IPS: If Ipswich wins, the outcome is settled as "Yes"; otherwise "No". - DRAW: If the match ends in a draw, the outcome is "Yes". - FUL: If Fulham wins, the outcome is "Yes"; otherwise "No". Settlement will be based on the result at the end of regular time (90 minutes) plus stoppage time. If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match is played and completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, the DRAW option will resolve to "Yes", while both IPS and FUL options will resolve to "No". The primary settlement source will be the official result published by Premier League. If the governing body or event organizers have not published the final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus from credible sources may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the collective predictions of many individuals. As more information becomes available – such as team news or injuries – and as the event draws closer, the odds on Opinion may converge with, diverge from, or even lead sportsbook odds. It’s common to see prediction markets offer more accurate probabilities, especially when there’s significant public interest and active trading.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability that outcome will occur, as perceived by the market participants. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to set accurate probabilities, as they profit from correctly predicting the event's outcome. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher its price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic process creates a constantly updating forecast for the Ipswich vs Fulham match.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Ipswich vs Fulham match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the outcome against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy. Traders holding contracts for the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution, while those holding contracts for losing outcomes will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Ipswich or Fulham would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected changes in team form, managerial decisions, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Major news stories impacting the teams or the league, such as significant transfer announcements, could also move the market. As the match date approaches, any updates from team training sessions or pre-game press conferences will be closely watched by traders on Opinion.
