If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, whereas this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will move accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. It’s a good practice to compare both to inform your decisions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is directly influenced by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Ipswich Town FC vs. Fulham FC match will determine the winning share. The resolution will be based on official data sources and widely accepted sports results. Traders holding shares in the correct first-half exact score will receive a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not. The exact resolution process is defined by Polymarket’s market rules.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players for either Ipswich Town FC or Fulham FC, or changes in weather conditions could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected pre-match analysis or expert opinions could also cause movement. Furthermore, as the match day approaches, any significant betting activity observed elsewhere might influence trading on Polymarket. Finally, even in-game events during the first half, if the market remains open, could trigger rapid price adjustments.
