In the upcoming Premier League game between Ipswich Town FC and AFC Bournemouth, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Ipswich Town FC vs. AFC Bournemouth match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market's prices are driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public opinion changes regarding the likely first-half scoreline.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous process where traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to represent the collective belief of the traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more demand for a particular outcome, the higher its price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the latest information and insights.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first-half exact score as recorded by the governing football authorities. The outcome will be determined by the score at the end of the first 45 minutes of regular play, plus any added time, in the Ipswich Town FC versus AFC Bournemouth match. Any potential disputes will be resolved using official match data.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Ipswich Town or AFC Bournemouth would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the expected style of play and therefore the market prices. Even pre-match team lineup announcements, or any perceived changes in team form, could lead to traders adjusting their positions and moving the odds on Polymarket.
