On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of each contract directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on news, analysis, and their own insights, causing the odds to fluctuate in real-time. The more traders who believe Ipswich will win by two or more goals, the higher the price of the 'yes' contract will climb, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Ipswich vs Manchester City match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match result, specifically whether Ipswich won the game by a margin of two or more goals. The platform will then verify the outcome against publicly available data to determine whether the 'yes' or 'no' contract will pay out. Traders holding the winning contract will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the odds for this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Ipswich or Manchester City would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or managerial decisions could also cause movement. Furthermore, any public statements from analysts or experts offering strong opinions on the match outcome might sway traders, leading to fluctuations in the price of contracts on Limitless.
