The market resolves based on which team leads at the end of the first half of the Iowa State vs. Arizona college football game scheduled for October 23, 2026. Conversely, if Iowa State scores more points than Arizona in the first half, the Iowa State market resolves to Yes. Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from initial sportsbook lines that may be influenced by factors like public perception or sharp action. Sportsbooks set odds to balance betting action and ensure profitability, while this market represents the probability assigned by traders willing to put their capital at risk. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines as new information becomes available, and as traders react to news and analysis regarding the Iowa State vs Arizona game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of Arizona winning the first half. The price of a contract ranges from 0 to 100, representing a 0% to 100% chance of the event occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe Arizona is likely to win, demand for the 'yes' contract increases, driving up its price. Conversely, if traders favor Iowa State, the price of the 'yes' contract will fall. This dynamic pricing mechanism reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team is leading at the end of the first half of the Iowa State vs Arizona game. The official score at halftime will be used to determine the winner, and the market will settle accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final first-half score to understand the resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Iowa State or Arizona would likely cause significant movement.
