Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, reflecting their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Predict, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust as new information emerges and more participants weigh in. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, risk assessments, and the influence of public sentiment. It’s worth comparing to see where the crowd differs from professional oddsmakers.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices converge towards what the crowd deems to be the fair value. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more people believe D.C. United SC will score first, the price of that outcome will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and opinions.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the Inter Miami CF vs. D.C. United SC match. If the match is canceled or abandoned before a goal is scored, specific rules will apply to determine the outcome, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process. The outcome will be determined by official match data and verified against credible public sources.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Inter Miami CF or D.C. United SC would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, such as recent wins or losses, could also shift the odds. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might impact the style of play and affect scoring probabilities. Finally, major tactical announcements from either team’s coach could influence predictions.
