Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market's odds are determined by the collective predictions of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or information not yet fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights, though it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome occurring.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective prediction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe Inter Kashi FC will win the second half, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa.

This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the Inter Kashi FC vs Odisha FC second half – whether Inter Kashi FC wins, Odisha FC wins, or the half ends in a draw – will be used to determine the winning shares. Resolution will be based on the official result reported by the governing football league and verified against credible public sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced before the match could shift trader sentiment. In-game events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, will likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions or referee decisions could also play a role. Overall, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning the second half has the potential to move this market.
