This market refers to the cricket match between Korea Republic and Indonesia scheduled for October 4 2026 at 9:00 PM ET in Indonesia Tour of South Korea T20s. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Often, prediction markets can provide an early indicator of potential shifts in expectations, as they are less influenced by public perception and more focused on informed analysis. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before significant events or when new information emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price of shares will fluctuate, reflecting the evolving consensus. The market's depth and volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in their predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the Korea vs Indonesia T20 series, as reported by recognized sporting authorities. The final standings and match results will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized and validated on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Unexpected player injuries or changes in team lineups for either Korea or Indonesia could significantly shift expectations. Weather forecasts leading up to the matches are also important, as rain delays or unfavorable conditions could impact performance. Any news regarding team strategies, coaching decisions, or player form could also cause fluctuations. Finally, public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators may indirectly influence trading activity in this market.
