This set of markets evaluates individual player and team defensive performances in an upcoming Pro Football game, focusing on whether specified participants achieve certain fantasy point thresholds using a standardized scoring system.
All markets resolve based on Sleeper’s default full-PPR fantasy scoring system applied to the full game (including overtime) between Indianapolis and Minnesota scheduled for October 25, 2026. Each market specifies a player or team unit (D/ST) and a numeric threshold; the market resolves to 'Yes' if the specified participant accumulates more fantasy points than the threshold during the game. Players or units that do not participate or receive no fantasy-point value are treated as scoring zero points. The official Sleeper-published fantasy-point totals at expiration are used for resolution, with no post-expiration adjustments or rounding applied. Scoring includes points from passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, defensive/special teams plays, and allows negative points for interceptions, missed kicks, and allowed points by defenses. All trademarks and league names are property of their respective owners; Kalshi has no official affiliation with the governing league.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. While sportsbooks may initially be more influenced by expert analysis, this market can quickly incorporate a wider range of factors and react to real-time developments, potentially leading to more accurate predictions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning buyers and sellers set the prices by placing bids and asks. The current price represents the probability that a particular outcome will occur, with higher prices indicating a greater likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate estimates, as they profit from correctly predicting the outcome. The market depth, visible on the dashboard, shows the volume of buy and sell orders at different price levels, giving you an idea of the potential price movement and liquidity available for this market.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final fantasy point totals for players in the Indianapolis Colts versus Minnesota Vikings game will be used to determine the winning outcome. These totals will be sourced from official fantasy football providers and widely available sports statistics websites. The resolution process ensures a transparent and objective determination of the result, based on established scoring rules for fantasy football.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to resolution. Player injuries are a significant catalyst, as the absence of key players can dramatically impact fantasy point projections. News regarding player matchups, coaching strategies, or weather conditions could also shift expectations. Unexpected changes in player performance during the week leading up to the game, or even pre-game reports on player health, can lead to rapid price adjustments. Finally, large volume trades from informed participants could also signal shifts in sentiment and move this market.
